School Board Adopts New Out-of-District Attendance Policy

At its March meeting the Geneva City School Board adopted a new policy governing the enrollment and attendance in Geneva City Schools of students living outside of the school district. Highlights of the new policy include:

·     Application procedures

·     Tuition costs

·     Continuing attendance requirements

·     Provision for out-of-district families with children currently enrolled

Copies of the new policy, procedures, and required application documents are available for downloading in the "Out-of-District Enrollment" tab found at the top of the Geneva City Schools website (www.genevacityschools.com).

Interested parents/students must submit a completed application postmarked no later than June 1, 2014. (Submission of hand-delivered, completed application accepted at the Geneva City Board of Education office by no later than 4:00 p.m. June 2, 2014.)
